Created in February 2006, LEUKOS is a start-up company born from XLIM research institute, a mixed research unit (UMR 7252) from the French CNRS and the University of Limoges, France. The company was founded by pioneers of supercontinuum generation to develop brand new compact supercontinuum lasers based on their expertise in nonlinear optics. Since 2006, we have been offering solutions to universities, industry and institutes worldwide, making LEUKOS a world-leading player in supercontinuum laser sources. We offer extraordinary laser sources for a wide range of imaging techniques (optical coherence tomography, confocal microscopy, multiphoton microscopy, …). Supercontinuum lasers are light sources that combine the benefits of a broadband lamp (ultraviolet/visible/infrared emission) and of a laser (excellent beam quality). Since 2006, Leukos has been offering supercontinuum solutions to universities, research institutes and industry worldwide.
